In this project, we had the opportunity to revitalize the rooftop terrace of a townhouse in Ajax by installing Teak 1×2 WPC deck tiles in a beautiful staggered pattern. The project was completed in just one day, despite some logistical challenges due to the rooftop’s location. Moving the boxes of tiles up to the terrace proved difficult, but our team handled the task with efficiency. The front side wall of the terrace wasn’t straight, which required many custom cuts to ensure a perfect fit and a seamless installation.
The client had previously installed cheap (price and quality) Ikea tiles, which were not built to withstand the elements over time. They wanted a product that would offer durability and longevity, especially given the terrace’s exposure to direct sunlight all day, particularly in the summer months. For this reason, we recommended our WPC deck tiles, which are known for their strength, resistance to harsh environments, and low-maintenance properties. The Teak colour adds warmth and natural beauty to the space, perfectly complementing the modern townhouse.
Additionally, we installed deck lights to enhance the atmosphere of the terrace, creating a cozy, welcoming ambiance for evenings spent outdoors. The WPC tiles’ excellent durability ensures the terrace will maintain its stunning look for years to come, even under the harsh sun and changing weather conditions.
